About the Authors:

Sally Michael is co-founder and publishing consultant of Children Desiring God, a widely used Sunday school curriculum she designed for young people. She is also an author and a speaker, and she served as Minister for Children at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota for sixteen years.

Gary Steward is an adjunct faculty member at California Baptist University in Riverside, California, and at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He served as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada, from 2004 to 2011. Gary is currently pursuing a PhD in church history and historical theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville.
