Come, Ye Children: Practical Help for Telling Children About Jesus (Charles H. Spurgeon)

$7.50$8.99

No one had a larger heart for children than Charles Spurgeon, the most influential pastor in the history of all English-speaking preachers. His church in downtown London grew largely due to his vast burden for children and his incessant labors to meet and reach them. He knows how to impart to parents a new enthusiasm and joy in the crucial task of the work for which you labor, and plain-spoken practical guidance to reach their hearts – in this book Come Ye Children.

But some get very discouraged in this work.  The Christian training of children is hard, and often results are slow to be observed.  In Spurgeon’s book you will find encouragement, practical help and biblical principles.

About the Author

C. H. Spurgeon, the great London preacher of the 1800s, was one of the most influential people of the second half of the 19th Century. At the heart of his desire to preach was a fierce love of people, a desire that meant he did not neglect his pastoral ministry.  He loved visiting children in orphanages and devoted considerable time to sharing the gospel with them.

Endorsement

This book provides encouragement for any who are weary or disillusioned in such work.  Spurgeon gives interesting examples of young believers.  The lasting impression of Spurgeon’s book is one of realistic encouragement to persevere in obeying Jesus’ command, ‘Let the children come to me.'”  — Free Church of Scotland Magazine
