This story was reminiscent of Hansel and Gretel although the characters’ here are plausible and the ending a valuable lesson in how much and how far forgiveness goes. An enjoyable, read aloud story.

I loved this Lamplighter book!!! It is a 18th-century story for children that parallels the life of Joseph and his brothers. The gospel was shining beautifully throughout every chapter. This is definitely one of my favorites!!!

This would be a great one to read out loud to children of every age and a great little book for kids just beginning to read chapter books by themselves. Parents make sure you read this little gem as there are nuggets of gold in there for you as well! I can’t wait to share this book with all the families in my church!

A beautiful narrative drawn from our Bible’s life of Joseph.
