Here is a little about author Catherine Mackenzie that she wants her readers to know:

Let me introduce myself. My name is Catherine Mackenzie and I live in Inverness, in the Highlands of Scotland.

From a very early age I have loved books and stories. One day as a child the only way my parents could persuade me to take my medicine was to promise me a book. So I took a deep breath and swallowed.

Even as a child I knew that I wasn’t really a Christian. I knew I didn’t love Jesus in the same way as the woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears. But several years after I read that story, I realised that I needed God’s forgiveness through Jesus Christ, His Son.

These days, the kid who loved to read now loves to write. The idea for this book came because some girls at a summer camp I was at agreed to give me and the other leaders a “pamper session.”  Two girls jumped at the chance of redoing my hair, face, and nails. They enjoyed themselves and at the end I looked quite different!  It made me think of how God wants to change me from my sinful self to someone who glorifies Him and enjoys Him forever.

I hope this book will help you to find out more about this wonderful, life changing God!
