About the Author
Elsie Egermeier 1(1890-1986) is also the author of Boys of Grit Who Never Gave Up and the well-known Egermeier’s Bible Story Book. She had great love for children. As a young teen, Elsie developed an interest in writing that later became a calling from God. When she wrote the volume that was destined to become a Christian classic for family worship, Egermeier’s Bible Story Book, she tested what she wrote by reading it to children to be sure they understood and enjoyed the stories. Girls of Courage Who Became Women of Influence is the first Lamplighter book from her pen.
