Christian Fiction

Never underestimate the value of well-written Christian fiction or allegory. Since the time of Augustine’s The City of God or Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress, many works of fiction giving the reader a perspective on the world from Christian vantage point have served as an incalculable blessing down through history.  An entirely new generation of fiction writers have recently emerged, bringing us theology wrapped in creative writing and striking symbolism that communicates truth in vivid colors.  Some of the best are Chuck Black and his Kingdom Series, C. R. Hedgcock’s Baker Family Adventures, the memorable Scout Series, and the many writings of Douglas Bond, Ed Dunlop, and John Horn.
