You’ve got questions? Walter Martin’s got answers. “The Bible Answer Man” responds to over 100 questions on such topics as the Trinity, the Bible, the Church, daily Christian living, and others, culled from his radio show and live events. Compiled and edited by Dr. Martin’s daughter, Jill Martin Rische.
Systematic Theology
It was B. B. Warfield who declared that systematic theology is “the culminating department of theological science,” or, as another has said, it is “the queen of sciences.” There are many ways in which to study the teachings of Scripture, and each has its own value; each unique theological discipline attempts to present the knowledge of God revealed in Scripture, whether it’s exegetical theology, biblical theology, pastoral theology … but in Systematic Theology, we seek to discover the whole counsel of God, topic by topic, and arrange it logically in a way that we can come back to reliably. Volumes such as those compiled by Wayne Grudem, John MacArthur, R. L. Dabney, Louis Berkhof and others are of proven value. Many of the volumes on these pages also focus on one topic of systematics rather than the entire scope.

40 Questions About the End Times (Eckhard Schnabel)
This newest contribution to the 40 Questions series continues the tradition of excellent research presented in accessible language and clear writing. Designed for both students and general readers, this resource helps them make sense of one of the Bibles most difficult topics.
Eckhard Schnabel, a professor at a leading seminary and the author of several major works, looks at the future of the world, the church, and Israel; the return of Jesus; and the millennium and the final judgment. He answers questions related to the rapture, the 144,000, the identity of the two witnesses, Armageddon, how to interpret Revelation, heaven and hell, and so forth.
The result is an even-handed treatment that avoids sensationalism and a newspaper headline approach to prophecy, that is, interpreting prophecy according to current events. Rather, Schnabel carefully studies the biblical text in light of its first-century context and draws biblically-based conclusions.

Beholding the Triune God (Matthew Y. Emerson and Brandon D. Smith)
Understanding Luke’s Narrative in the Book of Acts
The book of Acts is unlike any other in Scripture; it has no rival in terms of a book spanning so many different lands. Written by a Gentile, it recounts the birth of the church age and the lives of early Christians that serve as lasting examples for the church today. When believers see how these events worked together to fulfill God’s promises, they gain a better understanding of the Trinitarian heart of Acts.
In The Mission of the Triune God, author Patrick Schreiner argues that Luke’s theology stems from the order of his narrative. He shows how the major themes in Acts, including the formation of the church, salvation offered to all flesh, and the prolific spread of the gospel, connect. Through Schreiner’s clear presentation and helpful graphics, readers follow the early church as it grows “all under the plan of God, centered on King Jesus, and empowered by the Spirit.”

Christ’s Glorious Achievements (Charles Spurgeon)
The popular view of Christianity today is a list of rules. Do’s and Don’t seems to be what it is all about. But if that’s what we think Christianity is all about then we have a lot to learn. The key to understanding Christianity is not something we have to do, but rather something that Jesus Christ has already achieved on our behalf.
This book, by one of the most influential Christians of the last 200 years, looks at what Christ has done for us. Read it and then ask yourself the question “If Christ has done all this for me, is anything I am asked to do for Christ too much in return?”
