God-honoring and faith-building music has been an important part of our worship, sharing, and rejoicing in our faith for centuries. Part of seeing to it that the Word of Christ richly dwells within us, according to the Apostle Paul, is “speaking to one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.” But of course, we do this with the preeminent aim in mind of “making melody in our hearts to the Lord”, as well as offering up fruitful praise with our lips.
