We all know what it’s like to harbor that gnawing feeling that rears its ugly head as envy. Even the Christian is not exempt, as we see in the case of Charlie. “But don’t it seem that some folks should have everything, and the other folks nothin’?” Charlie soon realizes that envy easily escalates to bitterness and resentment, and that his idea of “having everything” is far from the truth.

Through an unexpected encounter with the likes of Black Darley and Crafty Joe, Charlie is horrified to see envy’s hateful passion in their dark, evil plans. He must not shrink in fear, but must rally up courage to do what’s right in the face of imminent danger. Will he act quickly enough, or will it be too late?
