About the Authors 

Marilyn Boyer is wife to “Uncle Rick” Rick Boyer, and they are the parents of 14 children, all of whom they homeschooled.  They co-founded The Learning Parent, and are co-authors of several family and character-building books. Each has also authored books of their own. In this case, Marilyn has co-authored with her daughter-in-law Kelley.

Their heartbeat as parents and grandparents is to train up children who are mighty in spirit and increasingly show forth the character of Christ.  With that goal in mind, they have put a lot of time and effort into finding creative ways to teach God’s truth to their kids.  Their books are the result of lots of prayer, study, struggle–and trial & error.  They’ve been kid-approved and family tested, which makes them powerful and practical tools.
