He promises to send His messenger, who will purify the priests and judge the people who are doing wrong. He promises that if they will turn their hearts back to God, He will bless them.

And God’s promises came true – he sent John the Baptist to prepare the way of the Lord, encouraging people to repent, and he sent his Son, Jesus, to take away the sins of the world.
