Endorsements

“Here is theology that is practical, applying Bible teaching with insight and wisdom to the condition of plain people. Christian beginners will get the benefit and the Lord’s older sheep, grown tough and stringy maybe, will find themselves edified and perhaps tenderized too.” — Dr. J. I. Packer, author of Knowing God

“I grew up in Reformed and Presbyterian churches and was excited to learn more and more theology as I became an adult. My tendency was to learn theology for its own sake. I knew of Dr. Ferguson’s reputation when I found a copy of this book, and it wonderfully connected this great theology with the life we’re called to live. It has become one of my favorite books.” — Paul Singbusch
