$12.50$15.00
The fear of God is an important theme in the Bible, yet many Christians today overlook it or treat it carelessly. Fearing God is the soul of godliness, and those who claim to love God should desire to understand what it means to fear Him.
In The Forgotten Fear, seasoned pastor Albert Martin revisits this important topic. First, he establishes the theme of the fear of God in both the Old and New Testaments, and then defines what fearing God means.
Finally, he addresses the practical implications of fearing God, showing its expression in the lives of Abraham and Joseph and providing instruction for believers today to maintain and increase their fear of God.

About the Author
Albert N. Martin concluded 46 years of ministry at Trinity Baptist Church in Montville, New Jersey, in June 2008, and he and his second wife Dorothy relocated to Michigan (he lost his first wife Marilyn in 2004 after 48 years of marriage and a six-year battle with cancer). A recognized evangelist, counsellor, pastor and preacher, Al Martin had his first experience of street preaching before the age of eighteen, under the guidance of elders at the Mission Hall he attended.
Pastor Martin taught all the courses in Pastoral Theology in the Trinity Ministerial Academy for 20 years until it closed in 1998. In his ‘retirement’, he has now put these lectures into permanent DVD format, as well as having written Pastoral Theology, Volume 1: The Man of God.
He has also written four booklets: A Life of Principled Obedience, Living the Christian Life, The Practical Implications of Calvinism, and What’s Wrong with Preaching Today?, as well as the book Grieving, Hope, and Solace: When a Loved One Dies in Christ.
